Who we are

Theological Cover Who we are

Hello Teologico.club readers,

I’m a young theology student looking to create a blog to present all the things I’ve learned in my studies. But I realized that a blog wouldn’t be enough for the ideas I had, as I wanted more in-depth articles with more study-oriented content.

I wanted to write about the history of the church, the places described in the Bible, the books/documents considered important to Christianity and, above all, to explain those difficult theological terms I always heard. With all this, I realized that it would be best to start an encyclopedia focused on theology rather than a personal blog.

The only limitation I’ve found in an encyclopedia is that it can’t depend on a single person, but on several, a community focused on the same goal. I have therefore created a channel to receive contributions from anyone willing to help me improve the content presented in this encyclopedia and increase its collection.

I believe that this project can make life easier for those who have just started their studies in theology. In the same way, I’m trying to help the studies of people who just want to learn more about the Bible and a specific subject.

Above all, I want this project to be able to bring the gospel through theological teachings and the Bible, in a way that is simple and accessible to everyone. At no time, of course, does it replace reading God’s revelations contained in his Holy Word.

Today this project doesn’t just belong to me, but to a group of friends who have taken a liking to this idea and are taking care of all the details of this encyclopedia. I am immensely grateful to them and to all our readers. May the Lord bless you greatly.

Sincerely,

Diego Pereira do Nascimento

What are we going to use to teach theology?

As a source and study material for what is published here, the Holy Bible, in its different versions/translations, will always be used above all other materials. In other words, we take care not to reference extra-biblical sources that go against what is said and taught in the Holy Scriptures

In addition to the Bible, important historical documents will be used as references for our articles. Some of them will be the fruit of councils, synods and other ecclesiastical meetings. In addition to documents such as the Apostolic Creed, books of the Apostolic Fathers, secular historical records, among others.

The idea is to use reliable reference materials so that the articles in this encyclopedia, in turn, are reliable and can be referenced in other studies and works.
